As providers of women's health the faculty of the department of Obstetrics
and Gynecology at the University of Chicago are available to provide students
with information regarding the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology,
and the aspects of caring for women in various life cycles, both in illness
and wellness.
Students can benefit from developing an ob/gyn and women's health interest
club for many reasons including:

gaining insight into a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology

learning about women's health issues, wellness, disease prevention and
gender differences.
Students who are interested in seeking more information regarding the field
of Ob/Gyn, and possibly organizing an interest club in Ob/Gyn and
Women's Health should feel free to contact Dr.
Sabrina Holmquist. The faculty encourages
students at all levels to consider electives in the department for greater
